Still in Kenya but into the country side now. The garbage in the ditch thins and I see my first zebra on side of the highway and I gasp. Little did I know that I was heading to a full blown safari! We get to our camp ground,get set up and then head out for an evening drive. The first animal we see is a male lion! I can't stop saying holy shit over and over. He walks right on front of the truck. The guide says it is very rare that we are very lucky. It is still Christmas day and I think it is the best gift.
Shortly after I stand in a savana surounded by hundreds of animals. I see water buffalo,zebra,rhinos,pink flamingos,pelicans,deer,giraffes....it is absolutely unbelievable. I drink it ALL in..I am here,this is real! I chose this,it is what I want and I feel so happy!
Sounds like bullshit eh? Well I have all the photos......which you will see..as soon as Africa lets me.
